Sr. Manager Digital Brand Marketing

Washington D.C. metro area, We are looking for a professional Senior Manager of Digital Brand Marketing to join our Trusted Choice team!

Job Purpose:  Consistent with the mission, vision and goals of Trusted Choice, this role will direct the development and execution of comprehensive digital engagement strategies that effectively engage target audiences through, social media, email, and other digital platforms to drive consumer traffic directly to our partner site and convert to quality leads for Independent Insurance Agents.
Responsibilities:

Digital Brand Strategy (30%)

Direct the development of overall brand marketing strategy in collaboration with the VP of Marketing. Devise strategies to increase brand awareness and drive digital traffic to the trustedchoice.com website, social media, and other digital platforms.
Build an annual roadmap of social and digital campaigns, consisting of email communication, digital ads, and other media. Develop new concepts and ideas to drive campaign performance. Identify campaign objectives, define KPIs, and execute campaigns in collaboration with stakeholders.
Manage a range of digital marketing techniques including paid advertising, organic and paid social, and partnerships with a focus on identifying and building existing and new audiences.
Manage the organization’s consumer facing social media strategy, including paid advertising on social media platforms and overall content.
Form and lead cross-functional teams to develop successful digital campaigns and marketing solutions.

Digital Technology (20%)

Coordinate the development of internal digital platform capabilities for communication and marketing efforts in conjunction with our partner trustedchoice.com. Oversee optimization of platforms to maximize the success of campaigns and reach.
Maintain knowledge of current and emerging digital trends, methods, and technologies to have Trusted Choice be at the forefront of developments in digital marketing. Review and recommend new platforms in alignment with overall strategies and initiatives.

Digital Content (30%)

Serve as the overall project manager for the design and development of Trusted Choice consumer digital properties. Coordinate with our partner trustedchioce.com in the production of digital content that effectively attracts the correct target audience.
Manage content library, digital content assets, and digital content training for agents. Collaborate with internal teams and members to meet evolving agent’s needs.
Collaborate with internal and external teams and other departments to ideate and develop new media and digital content (including content formats and channel placements) that complements current outreach, messaging and program initiatives. Understand and embed the Trusted Choice brand and voice in all content to maintain consistency.
Design and implement performance measures to evaluate the effectiveness of digital content. Oversee the optimization of content to maximize the impact of campaigns and initiatives.
Keep abreast of emerging technologies and innovations in digital storytelling and marketing opportunities. Drive the development and improvement of digital content using all the latest tools and techniques.

Analysis and Improvement (15%)

Drive the implementation of data-driven and user-centered methodologies to optimize digital experiences across dotcom, mobile and emerging platforms.
Guide the development of best-in-class processes to collect data, derive insights, and inform business intelligence and product decisions.
Oversee the development of campaign metrics, reports, and analyses that drive effective decision-making on digital communication and marketing initiatives.

Leadership (5%)

Manage budgeting for digital tools, platforms (i.e. social, Google Adwords), software, and equipment.
Select, build, manage, and direct relationships with key vendors and partners involved in the development, maintenance, and support of digital technology platforms.
Manage team including social media and design support plus summer intern(s).
Work collaboratively with internal and external teams in the fulfillment of overall communications and marketing goals.
Work alongside the VP and other Directors to drive strategic direction and maintain a positive, productive team culture.

  Education and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field
At minimum 8 years of applicable work experience
Managerial and team leadership experience, including working closely with senior management teams
Experience building and managing digital marketing acquisition strategies, including but not limited to search, social, paid advertising, and email specific to B2B and B2C
Experience in collecting and leveraging customer data to optimize digital marketing success
Current knowledge of web and digital technologies and analysis tools, such as WordPress, HTML, responsive design, content management systems, content feeds, Google Analytics, Facebook Business Manager
MS Office skills (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
Consumer traffic generation experience
Prior knowledge or experience in insurance a plus
