New York, New York, Plato Learning is looking for a Senior Marketing and Operations Director to drive the growth and expansion of our outdoor mythology-based summer camps for kids ages 7-15. Our 17 immersive camp experiences span locations from NYC to California and engage upwards of 7000 campers per year in physically and mentally engaging activities that empower kids to develop new literary skills, take risks, solve problems, and build social courage. We believe in the transformative power of stories and are focused on a nationwide expansion of our research-based camp model. 
We are looking for a multi-skilled, hardworking and inspiring leader to manage and control diverse business operations and functions. The ideal candidate is visionary and detail-oriented with great people skills and excellent business acumen and is squarely focused on increasing the lifetime value of campers and developing strategies and program/line extensions that will meet/exceed the enterprises financial goals in the next 5 years.
As the company’s second-in-command you will be responsible for: 

Identifying and finding new revenue streams or areas of expansion to grow the business and scale Plato Learning.
Develop and implement growth strategies and build the pipeline of opportunities to enhance the growth of Plato Learning. 
Evaluate and enhance Plato’s infrastructure, operations and systems and identify areas for process enhancement to ensure organizational efficiency. Assess customer data and prior initiatives to inform the testing, optimizing and iterating  of next step strategies to secure new customers and retain loyal ones. 
Analytical forecasting and revenue projections to support alignment with financial goals. 

Location: Hybrid remote/in person in Brooklyn, NY (Dumbo)
Compensation: $100,000-$140,000/year

Skills:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Thorough understanding of market development
Experience in setting monthly, quarterly and annual revenue targets

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong leadership skills

Education and Experience:  

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field required; Masters degree preferred
At least five years of experience in marketing and long-range planning are required, preferably in a startup or with a  growth market focus
5- 7 years work experience managing teams preferably in a leadership role at a summer camp, mission-driven enterprise, or youth facing organization
