Senior Cloud Architect

Senior Cloud Architect shall provide subject matter expertise to our Customers on our ART range of Cloud service implementation, migration, delivery, and performance management activities. Hence, the successful candidate will directly support the development of specific compute, storage, network, security, and other architectures and designs required to ensure our clients’ successful and continuing adoption of cloud services.

Senior Cloud Architect Must Have:

• In-depth knowledge of infrastructure and hybrid cloud operations approaches and principles
• Direct experience implementing cloud management solutions to automate service use and monitoring (AWS, Azure, Google, Office 365, etc…)
• Experience designing, configuring, and optimizing use of cloud services and related network connection mechanisms to support an organization’s infrastructure and application services requirements
• Competence in supporting changes to development, testing, deployment, and configuration management platforms and/or processes consistent with a DevOps (SDLC) approach
• Working knowledge of evaluating service designs and alternatives to achieve a portfolio and organization’s desired balance of performance, risk, and cost
• Arabic speaking skills

Senior Cloud Architect Expected To Possess:

• High level of experience and skill in their respective areas of focus
• Proven project management skills; experience in organizing, planning, and executing large-scale projects from the envisioning stage through to implementation, involving internal personnel, contractors, and vendors; ability to analyze project needs and determine resources needed to meet objectives in a fast paced, high pressure and relatively complex technical environment
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate with all management levels
• High standards of respect for individuals, excellence, and service to the customer

Required Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or relative field.

Required Experience:

• designing, configuring, and optimizing use of Cloud services: 5 years
• organizing, planning, and executing large scale projects: 5 years
• implementing Cloud Management Solutions: 5 years

As such, we are seeking Cloud Solutions Architects/Senior Consultants with proven business acumen and deep cloud technical skills combined with eCommerce and provisioning experience (Internal Data Center and external Cloud Providers). In this role, you will be responsible for the scoping project efforts & resources, governance in building solutions, pre-sales support and implementation of ART Cloud solutions engagements across the lifecycle.

Senior Cloud Architect:

As our Senior Solutions Consultant, you will:

• Lead the delivery scoping of projects and leadership of solutions to completion in a team environment while demonstrating a consultative personality, leadership mindset, and collaborative communication style.
• Work with solution teams to develop offerings and perform as a solution architect for new business opportunities and proposals. You will develop architectures and provide guidance across network, storage, operating systems, virtualization, other databases.
• Demonstrate your consultative capabilities by providing value added information to clients for connecting technology and business value in the solutions that you develop. You will be an Azure evangelist responsible for educating clients on the benefits of using the cloud provider platforms and ART Cloud value proposition.
• Participate and lead architectural discussions with clients as you build new cloud solutions and help customers migrate applications and services to the major Cloud platform providers (AWS, Azure, CSP, Google, SaaS, etc..).
• Possess a strong background in Enterprise-level architecture design and engineering of industry standard (best-of-breed) core infrastructure technologies.
• Possess a strong background in eCommerce and Portfolio architecture design and engineering of industry standard (best-of-breed) Order to Cash processes.
• Mentor and/or lead 3-8 teammates in the development of consultative and technical skills to maintain high-performance customer delivery teams.
• Perform other related duties as required and assigned.

Position is based in Dubai. However, the Senior Cloud Architect will be required to travel to other Emirates approximately 2-5 days per month.

What you’ll need to be successful:

• Four-year degree (or work experience equivalent) and 7+ years of experience with a proven advanced skill-set and enterprise experience across various Microsoft and related technologies, to include architecture experience in Microsoft Azure and CSP products like Office 365.  Experience in eCommerce solutions, SaaS products, Google Cloud, Amazon Web Services (AWS).
• Ability to understand the business needs and propose a technology solution that addresses the associated requirements.
• Proven ability to communicate at multiple levels of a mid-size to enterprise-level organization.
• Ability to work equally as effective independently or in a team environment.
• Assist sales and consulting team in driving new opportunities and educating clients on applicable technology solutions.
• Strong written and oral communication skills
