Irving, Texas, Description Summary: This position is responsible for writing and editing copy to support internal and external marketing and communications programs. Projects will include collateral, direct mail, advertising, Web/digital content, video scripts and newsletters. Collaborating internally to ensure that key messaging is on brand, this person will use the written word to support CHRISTS Health’s brand positioning and voice. To accomplish this, the Marketing Copywriter will work under the direction of CHRISTUS Health’s Director of Brand Experience and Design and collaborate closely with the Director of Creative Services as well as key system Marketing/Communications leaders and other members of the Brand and Creative Services team. Serve as system-wide copy resource in the development of marketing and communications materials. Contribute to all aspects of copy development: sourcing, writing, editing, fact-checking, proofing, and approvals. Provide copy support to Marketing and Communications to produce materials that effectively communicate strategic and operational information in a timely manner. Collaborate with Marketing & Communications resources to ensure brand/graphic/style consistency. Develop content to promote our system/service lines and support special events. Ability to organize and prioritize work balancing interruptions, distractions, and fluctuating workload. Ability to establish and meet critical deadlines. Self-starter with the ability to accomplish and take appropriate steps to achieve success. Ability to collaborate with internal and external customers. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in marketing, journalism, public relations, communications, or a related field. Working knowledge of marketing techniques for consumers, physicians, and referral sources. Excellent interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills, including AP style. Outstanding planning skills and the ability to prioritize/complete multiple assignments concurrently. Proficiency with Microsoft Suite software programs. 2 – 3 years of direct experience marketing communications experience with increasing responsibility in the areas of writing and editing. 3+ years in a health care setting is helpful but not required. Experience with Adobe Workfront and Adobe Creative Suite is helpful but not required. Work Type: Full Time
