Memphis, Tennessee, Market Range: 11 Hiring Range: $4,558.44/Monthly – $6,220.86/Monthly JOB SUMMARY/ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Under the direction of the Dean of the College of Pharmacy and serves as a liaison to the central UTHSC Office of Communications and Marketing, the Communications and Marketing Manager is responsible for the development of the College’s marketing and branding strategies, sets the direction for accomplishing the marketing goals of the College and oversees internal College of Pharmacy communications. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES : 1. Establishes the College’s marketing and communication goals that support the mission of the college, defines measurable objectives, and the ensures success of marketing and communication strategies. 2. Leads the project management of multiple college marketing and communications projects and recruitment marketing campaigns to including managing the digital student recruiting campaign. 3. Researches and understands the needs and perceptions of the College audiences and finds solutions for meeting needs and influencing perceptions. 4. Works closely with the UTHSC Office of Communications and Marketing for assistance, support, and approval with UTHSC branding, design, campus communications and marketing, social media, website, and some photography/videography needs. 5. Develops, produces, and presents a variety of reports–from executive summaries to detailed program reports–that summarize analyses, document the impact of marketing efforts, and inform future strategies. 6. Develops promotional materials, in collaboration with the Director of Admissions and Recruitment and with the approval of the UTHSC Office of Communications and Marketing, to reach external audiences that will promote name recognition and enhance reputation through sharing of accomplishments and activities of the College. 7. Enhances the general public’s awareness of the College’s programs and its faculty and researchers. 8. Manages budget and finances for the College of Pharmacy communications and marketing needs. 9. Works to raise the College profile by creating a robust, positive social media presence and develops and maintains the College website presence. 10. Perform other duties as assigned.
