Columbus, Ohio, The Ohio State University Department of Athletics is seeking an Associate Director, Marketing & Email. The Associate Director, Marketing & Email will support the Marketing staff by assisting in the creation, execution and evaluation of email and digital advertising communication and marketing campaigns. This position will manage the department’s email and advertising/communications calendar. Candidates focus will be on email campaigns, database building and communication as it relates to revenue generation and fan cultivation. The Associate Director of Digital Marketing will play a crucial role in revenue generation, data collection and growth. This position will also oversee assigned sports from a marketing, promotions and fan experience standpoint. The Associate Director, Marketing itional revenue growth. Maintain an in-depth understanding of all aspects of our fans, applying insights to our growth strategies and tactics. Conduct lead generation initiatives to support business development campaigns. Manage individual sports budgets; Creation and implementation of attendance Tracking and implementation of long-range growth plans. Coordinating pre-game, in-game and post-game promotional activities to enhance the game day experience for fans and our student athletes; Coordinating with gameday production staff to produce live events; Researching and implementing new strategies to effectively market athletic teams; Tracking and growing targeted fan bases. Performs other duties as assigned. Minimum Education Required Bachelor’s Level Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. Advanced degree in relevant field may be required. 4 years of relevant experience required. 4-8 years of relevant experience preferred.
